Apparently she's his stepdaughter which made it even lovelier to see as he obviously loved her so much.

Yes, DH and I we're both shouting at the screen 'dont roll in the spit'! Was a great race, and so lovely to see him with his family afterwards.

It could have been worse. one if the people I was watching it with made cruel comments about his daughters weight and how he should get her running to lose it.......

People used to comment on how big I was and it must be due soon, or twins, when I was only 24 weeks with dc2! Although I didn't care that much, people just speak without thinking too much sometimes.

I got quite emotional when his daughter ran to meet him and he picked her up and hugged her. What a special moment for the pair of them.

I think that pose with the whole family should be one of the key images of this Olympics. It's a real display of this country's diversity - Mo Farrah who came to this country speaking no English age 8 and is now our first ever 10k medallist and a great example for the next generation, about to bring twins into a mixed-race, blended family.

What would have been great would have been to have a shot of the Farrahs with Jessica Ennis and the red-haired, fair-skinned Greg Rutherford - a big range of backgrounds, all doing their country equally proud on British athletics' greatest night.

I would say that the bizarre comments about my size have been the very hardest & most unexpected side effect about pregnancy! Totally ruined my confidence & made me feel like turning into a recluse until its all over so I don't have to listen to comments like,

"well at 5 months you're much bigger than most people at your stage aren't you?" err no, I don't think so. How the hell would I know?

"I shouldn't worry, probably you wont get much bigger now" well as I'm four months pregnant I think I will get ALOT bigger ffs

"I bet you never thought you'd look fat did you?" well, still being the same weight as before, I didn't expect to have a small 12week pregnancy belly described as fat, no. Thanks though.

Confusing when people also say
"are you really pregnant though? You look really small"

I wish people would keep their bloody opinions to themselves!
Did the commentator know she was having twins, as from OPs post sounds like he was just making an unprompted comment ??

Gawd Mrs. Farah is a gorgeous woman (irrelevant, I know). I sat there shaking my head at DD saying "He must be an extremely nice guy because there's no way that dude's looks & fame attracted a woman like that".
I envision her on top of an Egyptian pedestal or sommat.

She can't have minded being on screen that size - there was a whole bbc interview with her shown earlier on Saturday.
