To say something to the bus driver who's son touched up my kids

I'm currently sat in a bus .

His son has been convicted of numerous child sex offences.
The driver of the bus I'm on 'the dad' sat there huffing and puffing and shaking his head mocking us parents of the various children his son touched . I kept my cool in court for the sake of getting a conviction I didn't want to hinder it in anyway .

I really wanna call him a fucking scumbag .

He doesn't recognise me

I dont think he will forget what his son did. But he isn't responsible for his sons actions. I can however believe that he was shaking his head in disbelief at what he was hearing.

This ^^

Sorry your family has been through so much

NarkedRaspberry · 04/08/2012 17:17

I'm so sorry that happened to your family. He was convicted?

You could always (if you weren't with DC) say, 'How's the family?'

janey68 · 04/08/2012 17:20

The sex offender is the one responsible for the crime. It waters it down to try to pin the blame anywhere else

HighJumpingHissy · 04/08/2012 17:22

I find an "I know who you are, i saw you in court" to be fairly useful in situations such as these.

Ah, ok I understand now, how utterly awful for you. I think it only natural to feel the way you do, and even though at the end of the day its not the father whos the offender to your DC, it would be hard for any parent whos been through what you and your family have to see any of his family.

So, I guess none of us can understand the anger you felt.

HighJumpingHissy · 04/08/2012 17:30

Had the bloke sat there quietly, listening, behaving with decorum and as you ought to behave in a court of law, then tbh the OP'd not be so upset today as she is.

Her son was molested by this man's son. That same man, a parent, sneered and expressed contempt and disbelief at the legal process designed to protect innocent children.
