To think that Russell Brand completely overstepped the mark here

I am no fan of litigation cultue but if I was her I'd slap a sexual harrassment claim on him before he could blink.
She won't though will she, if she values her career. Absolutely appalling behaviour.

on the drugs thing he speaks to a doctor who advocates the use of methadone, which Brand says is 'a sticking plaster for the soul' (he's advocating therapy) and he manages to be really rather cogent in the face of her patronising behaviour.

in that he is quite clear that he yearns to take drugs again and all the women and shagging etc etc etc counts for nothing by comparison.

i don't really believe this story about the tits, though, i think he's a pretty tortured fellow, personally. not sure whether he is himself a torturer.

Well look, I have always quite liked Brand since I read somewhere that he kicked off at a nightclub because they wouldn't let Ade Adeptian in.
But if this is true, then he is an arse. And if it isn't true, but he thinks it is good publicity, then he is an arse.

a) its believable

Huge fan of brands, if the way it's reported is accurate then it's a really horrible way to treat anyone.

I don't think he's as bad as he's made out to be. I watched a programme once where they were trying to find out if members of the public would go out of their way to help strangers and they set up various stunts to test them. Can't remember all the details but it was something about a person with an overturned wheelchair. The only person who stopped to help was Russell Brand who happened to be passing although he tried to make a joke about it when they caught up with him afterwards and told him he'd been filmed. Also saw an article about Joan Rivers the other day here, where she describes finding herself seated next to him on a flight.
Going back and forth to LA gave me the chance to write the book and I met some interesting people in First Class. I sat next to Russell Brand recently and I thought: 'Oh God!' But he was a darling, a real gentleman. He is totally not what you see. We talked about marriage and comedy, and he carried my bag for me when we got off.
