I don't like cheating. I don't condone it. BUT if you are a world famous actress, and your boyfriend is equally famous, isn't it just a little bit stupid to snog the face off of another man in public and assume you won't be caught?

Surely she is used to being tailed by paps?

Never seen Twilight but saw a film the other day with her in it and how she is called a actress I don't know.

Her acting 'skills' are another subject entirely. I'm not her biggest fan. RP apparently found out before the pictures were published and isn't speaking to her.

I'm not usually one for celeb gossip. I read a joke about her and googled to see what shed done (The joke was "Now we know how Kristen Stewart gets her acting parts").

Well maybe that's the way she does because it certainly isn't from her talent as an actress

She is 22. Show me a 22 year old that hasn't made some ridiculous fuck ups and i'll show you a liar.
At 22 I was incredibly naive and having an affair with a man 15 years my senior. In my foolishness I really thought he would leave his wife and kids for me and I really thought that nobody knew.
15 years later I look back on that young Nigel and think "aw, bless" and pat her on the head for her innocence. Just because KS is famous doesn't mean that she is shrewd and worldly

OhDearNigel - I'm not judging her on the affair. I don't know anything about her personal life and I'm not about to believe the media, I'm just amazed that someone as famous as her would be stupid enough to do it in public and think no one would see, or that if anyone did see they wouldn't take pictures.

He is the director of the Snow White film that KS played the lead role in. His wife played KS/Snow White's mother. They have two children, 5 and 7. Of course I feel bad for RP too.

A cynical person would be suspicious that Bella has cheated on Edward right when the new movie involving a love triangle is due to come out.

I have read some of her interviews and she spends the entirety of them talking about how cool she is, and how people who don't like her are idiots who can't identify coolness and greatness when they see it. I think she is an arrogant idiot, to be honest. A pretty face (but grumpy most of the time), no brains but a big, big head.

About the cheating... well, they are celebrities... what did you expect? Faithful celebrities must be as rare as hens' teeth.

I think she wanted to get caught because she doesn't want to settle down with rpatz. (She's only 22 and he's been talking about marriage). Not a nice thing to do though.

I think she's a selfish young actress, but I think the HE in this situation is despicable. He is 41 with 2 little kids and a wife fgs, and he has gone off shagging around with a 22 year old ffs. His statetment was yuck as well, hoping that he and his wife and kids would get through it together, like it's a sodding family tragedy. No rupert, it's your tragedy, you get through it! I think the bigger moron is Rupert Sanders. He has more to lose. He was a first-time director of a so-so film. If he was Steven Spielberg or Christopher Nolan, he could have ridden this out. Easier to get rid of a director than actors.

Also, "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart." I think I threw up when I read that. If they are all he has in this world and love them with all of his heart, he wouldn't have hurt them this viciously.

To be fair, I also threw up when I read Stewart's apology "I love him, I love him." Did these two people hire the same 13 year-old writer or what? This is the worst kind of purple prose I have ever read.
