I didn't even know there was such a topic. I'm not sure my ranty thread would be welcome there though Grin

I've said it a fair few times today, just go down active convos and hide anything that refers to the Olympics?

That's what I've done.

Wink
BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 28/07/2012 17:19

Jamie but I enjoy being a misanthropic moaning minny, it's so much fun, I don't normally moan about stuff, so I reckon I'm allowed to moan about the Olympics.

Grin

Go on, somebody mention 'sneering' go on, go on, go on!

Wink
CakeCrisis · 28/07/2012 17:20

Errr...then why isn't this thread in London2012 OP?

Grin
BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 28/07/2012 17:20

Doh, you beat me to it Cake!

usualsuspect · 28/07/2012 17:22

But they keep appearing cleverly disguised as not Olympic threads. So at least put Olympic thread in your titles

OP posts:
JamieandTheOlympicTorch · 28/07/2012 17:22

Brian

I understand. I moan about football to anyone who'll give the appearance of listening. But I am quite looking forward to a prolonged period of positivity about the Olympics

usualsuspect · 28/07/2012 17:24

This thread is not in London2012, because no one would read it in there Grin

OP posts:
ThisWeekonFancyPuffin · 28/07/2012 17:28

they try and trick you into reading about the Olympics, like hiding a carrot in chocolate.

Brian Your thread should be in Classics Grin

BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 28/07/2012 17:30

Jamie I actually don't mind the sport aspect. It's the rest of it that gets me ranty!

Usual there's your answer - right there!

Last night and this morning has been very cathartic for me, I feel as though a weight has been lifted, pointless ranting instead of walking round all grumpy at life in general. I reckon that alone has saved the NHS at least the cost of upping my meds for a couple of weeks Wink

BrianCoxhasSmellySox · 28/07/2012 17:31

Blush Why thank you Puffin, I wish I could lay claim to the fabulousness in that thread, but I can't but I will really

eurochick · 28/07/2012 17:33

YABU. I've never understood the topic police on here. If people want to have a general chat thread about the Olympics or ask an Olympics-related AIBU, why the hell shouldn't they? Don't read the threads that don't interest you.

JumpingThroughHoops · 28/07/2012 17:36

I really do hate the board police, or in this case the miserable fucking bored wannabe important plods.

usualsuspect · 28/07/2012 17:36

PC usual signing in for duty.

Move your threads along now please.

Anyone want to go for gold?

OP posts:
ThisWeekonFancyPuffin · 28/07/2012 17:48

My name is Puffin and I am a massive cunt for not wanting to read about the Olympics.

While I personally would rather set my hands on fire than watch them, clearly I am at fault.

Please shout at me. I would also invite you to fly up ass and sing..

Windsock · 28/07/2012 17:49

work in a bakery and today a man came in and asked me for an olympic, he meant a white tin loaf but had the Olympics on his mind

LadyBeagleEyes · 11/08/2012 11:51

Aw Usual, I usually agree with you with everything but I love the Olympics, always have.
