I just don't get it!

Curling is winter olympics. It has to be the most boring, tedious, pointless 'sport' in the whole world and is always on at the same time as the snowboarding.

I actually liked the US's outfits, they (and the Brits) seemed a lot more excitable in front of the camera's though which ruined the effect of the military-ish costumes for the US!

Though actually I doubt anyone could perform this song as well as The Beatles, but AM are making a fairly good stab at it.

Apart from the teams marching in, I didn't like it much. Its hard to explain why. Its too urban (yes I appreciate its the LONDON Olympics), too cool, seems a little bit lacking in the innocence of other Olympic opening ceremonies.

Plus its boring. Its like a second rate pop concert, really strung out. The dancing lacks choreography, it lacks colour, its not visually appealing.

Perhaps I am missing something.

They look like they've had gold tin foil stapled onto trakkies.

The queen was embarrassing she was picking her fingernails and she has looked so miserable during the whole opening ceremony and she is crownless !!

I thought it was fab. Really enjoyed it.
