I know, we have had cats and dogs before now but we aren't home enough these days to properly care for a dog.

The cats just do their own thing ... and then some Hmm

Geocaching quite good fun Blush. Got our DCs into walking and quite a fun family outing for v little cost and can be quite short if that is what you are after you are realistic about how bloody long it takes to leave the house so sod all time left to actually do anything

squeakytoy · 24/07/2012 23:00

It does actually sound like a really good fun thing to do with kids, that doesnt cost anything, for the summer holidays

MrsVamos · 24/07/2012 23:01

Ooh, that could work, lynette !

I'm not trendy at all either, Salmo. But I am either here or on ebay trying to get fabulous bargains.

I only remembered the boot names because I wrote them down, having seen so many threads about them.

This is what I do. I make lists of things to look at, and news items to read. Then completely forget for ages. Then eventually find list, and think, in the small hours, "ooh, I'll look at my list of things now".

Then find lots of things I covet. I don't even care if they are no longer trendy.

Maybe I shall have to try ebay for the boots. The trouble is, people are getting crafty, and only sell winter things in winter. I mean, how unfair is that ? When I'm looking for real bargains in the summer, it's just mean.

Mind you, I did manage to get 4 pairs of Skechers boots last year just before Christmas. In my defence, they were all BNIB, and about a third of the price.

Oh, and 3 different styles. And they were all a different colour. I just need a black pair of them now, then I have a set ! Grin

MrsVamos · 24/07/2012 23:03

See ? Grin

Salmotrutta · 24/07/2012 23:20

Those mean e-bay people selling stuff at the wrong time of year.

Disgraceful. Grin

Lists are great aren't they?

I should make them, me.

I know, I'm glad you empathise. Grin

I don't just make lists. I have lists of lists of lists. Lots of them.

Then I get myself confused and have to write out new ones, making One Big List.

I'm only 36. There's no hope really, is there ?

Moominsarescary · 25/07/2012 00:56

Ahh thanks mrsV so they are those time line thingys on nm

Fireandashes · 25/07/2012 01:02

MrsVamos...please reassure me you meant stomping WITH dogs, as the alternative squashed puppies doesn't bear thinking about.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 25/07/2012 01:03

Why did i always think LynetteS lives in Uhmerica?

Confused

You said something the other day that made me think you don't.

PerryCombover · 25/07/2012 01:10

No idea about the Kardashians??
Ditto all "the only way is..." groups
Until the birth of Dolly believed the Alex Reid Chantelle thing was a wind up
I have never been in Hollister and don't see the appeal. shurley jogging tops could be sold online or in a warehouse?
No idea about the geo thing either

monsterchild · 25/07/2012 01:38

we put a geocache out by the horses in a tree. It's a bit odd to see people slowly wandering around trying to find the cache. But the horses seem to find it amusing!
