My dad said this... a lot.

He was very grateful he had a shed.

From the age of 13 to 17 I dont think a day passed without me and my mother having an argument. I was a teenager, she was going through the menopause.. it was a toxic combination!

My poor father was often in the crossfire and just hid... with the dog.

leave home :)

Maybe, if they do it often, it's time to bring them both into the same room and say, "Listen, I don't like living here any more. All I can hear is you sniping at her and you sniping at him. Do you realise how much I wish I lived somewhere else? Do you realise that if things don't change between you I will leave and you two will be here alone?"

Then walk out of the room.

Imperial I may have to go down giving them a talking too , They go through spates of this it can be peaceful for a while then something will be said and off they go, and of course I am stuck in the middle, DD2 tries to stay out of the way too maybe I will take her with me Grin
