A real heavy AIBU to deal with in the heat here but DP and the DC think IABU and insist that burgers can only be served in soft baps.

YABU. Soft baps only. Burgers must be home-made out of really good beef - lots of different flavours work, and these dictate the rest of the contents, but for a well-seasoned plain beef burger you need a soft bap, really nice cheese (not plastic!!!), fried onions or sauteed mushrooms optional, sauces as desired but the bap must be soft.
