to want to shave my baby?

Because he rubs his head around at night ds(0.7) has got a mop of wispy blonde hair piled on top of his head, but none on the sides or back. About a quarter of the top is also bald too!

Would I be a terrible parent to grab my clippers and give him a close shave?

Tupee and wig tape

And do the moustache, you won't regret it

It as only one baby and it grew back!!!! Blush

Hats are your friend Beardy.

What about baby breakdancing? Then the rest would rub off.

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 23/07/2012 19:57

I don't think the health visitors would look kindly on me spinning ds on his head...

Why would you tell them? Just say he slipped during baby yoga on a wove lentil

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 23/07/2012 22:28

If he bumps his head they might shave him at the hospital...

Definitely do the mustache.

Would you like me to visit with the Veet? I can guarantee hair loss but can't promise he'll stay his current colour, but blue is lovely....

Iggly · 23/07/2012 22:35

I'd cut it!

My DD has a mohican (basically the bit of hair my DH is missing Grin) and I am never quite sure what to do with it. Thought about dying it pink!!

HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 23/07/2012 22:42

Beardy This is why I ignore people who say I'm good with kids, they are foolish and do not know any better.

I have children go home to their parents after sleepovers and tell them they went to bed a midnight but they aren't allowed to tell

I put the clocks forward 3 hours
the suckers

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 23/07/2012 22:46

Grin must remember that for the future!

In some Asian cultures it's tradition to shave babies' hair when they're quite young in the belief that this encourages it to grow back thicker. My friend did it to her 5mo and although I was quite Shock at first, it does look nice now it's grown back evenly.
