am desperate to go abroad

thought maybe we could swap my small 3 bed terraced for somewhere similiar somewhere nice, with a family with kids like us hoping to save a few bob

ha ha ha (hollow laugh)

those houses are millionaires pads, they arent houses normal eg.skint/penny pinchers folk would live in

I mean seriously, if you want to be depressed, have a look

can anyone recommend a site for folk with kids, terraced houses, small gardens, etc.

It's conveniently hidden away in classified.

Wonder if mn could re-list it in Travel?

Yeah I'm rather disappointed with the mumsnet house swap site too. However I'm also a member of the Guardian home exchange site and recommend it as I've had a couple of really good swaps. NCT sounds like it could be worth looking at too but now I am no longer a member.

I just looked at this mums net home swap. Who are these people? They are seriously not mumsnetters. It looks like mumsnet is hosting some american home swap website. I looked for houses in my home town abroad and there were surprisingly loads, but all uber posh and upmarket. My house is nice but these people would not want to stay at mine. I can't believe they are all mums netters, unless all these Brits that have moved abroad have done good and are all multi millionaires (assuming most people on this site are British, based in Britain or have some connection). I don't geddit?

Oh, just saw they are hosting Love Home Swap, so they are not mumsnetters. Why do mumsnet think we want to use this service? It is just confusing because they call it mumsnet home swap and it isn't.
