Just been on the other site nm and their seems to be a lot of

Sw are child snachers, i did nothing worng sw just came and stole my child

Their is a lot of denil in my view seems a lot of sw are the devil and i was just sitting in my perfect mummy tower when the big bad sw came and stole my child away ..

But when you dig deep into these stories they either dont ring true or te poster had been making very poor choices when you try and point out to the poster their time is better spent addressing the issues that sw has point out instead of trying to sue the social services (and also what with them always wanting to sue or demanding justice) you are kicked off for being un supportive Confused

is it me but their just seems to Me with a lot of netmums with their children in care (whats up with that)

I have no idea about any of this, so apologies if I am just displaying my ignorance BUT how does anyone know that the poster claming to be John Hemming really is him ? - or the person from the charity?

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:30

It's a ridiculous thread started to be defamatory towards netmums in a general and completely unevidenced way. What did you expect? Everyone would join you in your inciting of hatred and ridicule?

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:32

Mary's, so you think nm is full of people who have children in care ? And their membership of nm must be related? That's how I read the OP.

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:33

"is it me but their just seems to Me with a lot of netmums with their children in care (whats up with that)"

What a ridiculous and inflammatory thing to post.

Mrbojangles1 · 21/07/2012 21:33

Abuse denil is a real issue their are those such as the mp who shal remain namelss who belive that a child should never be removed regaudless how badly the parent has abused the child

And also i think its important to challange people if they are calming their children have been removed fasley when their stories clearly have holes

It easy to feel vitimised by sw and think your beeing picked on but it might help some people to see when getting told by people with no axe to grind that their time is better spent sprting their issues than joing hate online agaisnt ss

Perhaps John Hemming should go and hang out on Netmums instead (perhaps he does!) where he won't get harpies like us resisting his kind offers to put us right about the wicked ways of the world.

He's not banned from MN. He just builds up a trail of irresponsible and disrespectful behaviour which will, as sure as eggs. come back to bite him on the bum.

Mrbojangles1 · 21/07/2012 21:35

EclecticShock - If many mums on that site are posting yabout their children being removed and not very many post on here about child snatching ss all i can deduce is the above

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:37

Ss don't always work that effectively. My mother law is a foster carer and she has had many experiences of children being given to her in abrupt circumstances only to be told they need to be returned ASAP but it take years. I still don't see how this is related to nm persay.

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:38

Maybe they feel nm is more welcoming on these issues?

Eclectic..... It's only netmums, why the hysteria?

motherofallhangovers · 21/07/2012 21:42

There are a fair few MPs on here I think, some more obvious than others. e.g. a senior Tory MP who's a mum posts on here and doesn't half wind me up sometimes but I suspect that's what she's actually trying to do!

(Don't think that's outing her particularly - she seems to be fairly open about who she is.)

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:44

"netmums are always moaning about social workers"

"is it me but their just seems to Me with a lot of netmums with their children in care (whats up with that)"

That's why I'm objecting. It's not hysteria and it's not only nm, you being Derogatory about all people who post there. I'm sure many wouldn't appreciate it about mn. Fairness etc. can you not make your point in a less discrimatory way?

Mrbojangles1 · 21/07/2012 21:44

EclecticShock just because a child is returned dose not mean their is no case to answer and that is usually down to judges not ss

OP posts:
EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:45

Are you an expert on this area? Or should we just leave it to experts and but out.

LapsedPacifist · 21/07/2012 21:46

MOAHO - who the shitey hell is she then??? Shock

Olympia2012 · 21/07/2012 21:47

lapsed is it ND?

EclecticShock · 21/07/2012 21:48

This is a very sensitive topic and you obviously haven't been involved with ss. So it's probably best not to judge those that are. Every situation is complex and unique and I don't think reading posts on nm makes you an authority on the subject, so quit the judging.

mamadiva · 21/07/2012 21:48

I'm starting to wonder if this says eejit on the wind up...
