why it it theres always one neighbour

Ok so I posted on here the other day about moving into a new house and loud music . The loud music has gone but now their dog barks all the time and last night this went on for ages . AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Our downstairs neighbour has a dog that barks ALOT. I can just about handle that but the constant shouting of "Shut the f up you bastard. I'll fing kill you" and worse has driven us out,we move in 2 weeks!

wrote about noisy neighbours in another section, just read all this. why cant noisy people all be housed together and do each others ears and heads in? why do they get away with it? cos people are scared to confront cos theres no respect any more. im a single parent with a disabled child with autism and dogs/loud music/diy etc set them off. whenever weve moved into a new place (always cos of all these probs) ive introduced myself and had a quiet friendly appealing word but to no avail. im no pushover but at the end of the day they see theres no man coming in and out of my house and so take advantage. these people are just thugs that know they can do what the hell they like and stuff everyone else. if your neighbours are leaving dog all day alone then you should report to the rspca, thats cruelty.as for the music....even soundproofing doesnt erradicate the noise. the police should have more clout, and env health too.

It's the cats that ate the problem. My mums dogs are happy all day and night and don't make a sound until a cat is in the garden

Does she know that the dogs are barking? Have you told them?

Being a woman has nothing to do it, our neighbours on both sides are dicks and I live with my boyfriend. Some people are just twats.

What will a whistle do to shut a dog up?

I complained to the Council about barking dogs in a near neighbour's back garden (there were four) I was advised to keep a diary of the barking and was given the paperwork to do so. Am I supposed to sit at home and write down every incident?

I didn't bother but another neighbour went and spoke to the dog neighbour who said that the offending bulldog would be 'rehomed'. (Was it put down through no fault of its own?). In other words, the Council would do nothing straightaway.
