Race for Life

Recently ran (jogged and walked) Race for Life with my DD (22 months) on my hip. Got my medal at the end and asked if she could have one too. Got told that she couldn't due to health and safety. Asked to see supervisor who said that they were a choking risk. I said that I just wanted it as a souvenir for her and was refused bitch. I did the same thing last year, completed it with her at the age of 9 months and was given a medal for her then. Am I BU to be pissed and disappointed? Considering complaining about lack of common sense.

Whose lack of common sense are you complaining about? Yours I hope!

As a group my workmates and I did our local race on sunday. A couple of the workmates younger children joined us. Being unregistered didn't recieve a medal.
Not one moaned (child or parent) they just decided to sign up next year to get their own medals and raise a few more pounds to the cause.

Sugarstrands, I'm sorry that you're getting rude replies to your post. But it does seem like a very trivial matter and, to be brutally honest, the impression from your post is of stealth boasting.

FWIW I have issues with the Race For Life - which I hope to discuss now in Chat.

Were other children running/being carried?
