To report neighbour to RSPCA

My neighbour bought two giant rabbits, assured by the pet shop owner that they were same sex.

(You can see where this is going, can't you?)

They had 11 babies. Neighbour offered us one, we declined, but DD (10) went to see them a couple of weeks ago.

Last week she asked how the baby rabbits were and the neighbour told her he'd let them go in a farmer's field. Shock

DH and I are aghast at such cruelty. Anonymous call to the RSPCA? Would they be able to do anything?

JuliaScurr I worry more about the time wasted for the RSPCA rather than "oh well, in the grand scheme of things....".

We're a family of animal lovers, our rescue cat is 17 years old, a cornish rex, one eye due to cancer, special diet for his tummy and he has no teeth. The four call outs by RSPCA about the "Straggy cat with no proper fur" boiled my piss. RSPCA thought he was a fine specimen and were surprised by his playful manner and agility despite his age. Not one neighbour thought to ask us why he looks like he does, or do any research into cats with no fur, just down and massive ears. They just rang someone else to deal with it. Waste of time and money.
