Sometimes I want to like a thread or a post but can't be arsed to comment have nothing to add to it. Wish there was a like
button like Facebook.

OP posts:

Why not just write it then?

I agree with xxxxx

or

What xxxx said.

Tis simple.

msrantsalot · 11/07/2012 23:45

well i just went on a thread as to what to get a teacher and someone suggested a framed letter and I would have "liked" that, but as it was just left and said nothing

WorraLiberty · 11/07/2012 23:46

Because Exit sometimes the moment has long passed and 'xxxx' might have made a few posts after that.

You could always name the time of the post, but who's going to bother scrolling all the way back to see what it was?

usualsuspect · 11/07/2012 23:48

Do you feel the need to have your posts liked?

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/07/2012 23:50

Wail.

usualsuspect · 11/07/2012 23:53

Maybe some posters need to have loads of likes to feel they are popular Grin

I don't go around with yellow smiley face stickers and red frowney face stickers and silently (and anonymously) stick them on the people who are chatting

You don't??? Shock

We must go out for a drink some time....I'll show you how it's done Maryz Grin

Lawks.

Stop with the commercialat as well.

LadyBeagleEyes · 12/07/2012 00:07

As Maryz said, this is on site stuff.
If I like or agree with a poster, I come on and say it. And add a remark. It's called conversation, albeit on the internet.
I don't go round in my daily life saying like to people in RL who I agree with.
As far as I'm concerned it's the same as on MN.
No fucking way, and if it comes into use, I won't use it.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 12/07/2012 00:10

LBE.

What you say is righteous and true and you have lovely eyes and a funny waltz.

WorraLiberty · 12/07/2012 00:10

To be fair I don't go around in real life talking about my 'DH, DS, PILs and telling everyone I FF my DCs before BLW' Grin

ChaosTrulyReigns · 12/07/2012 00:10

See?

Easy and interesting.
