I will entertain your baby for you, if you will have my 13yo DS, 9yo DS and 6yo DD.

I will even pay you/offer you a weekly spa session.

Come and slate me, and tell me how difficult it is to entertain one toddler over the summer.

Hmmm I have a 5 and 3 year old. The older one plays Lego for hours, the younger one needs a lot more attention. I also look after a 12 and 10 year old a lot and they are much much easier. They go out with friends, or just go to their rooms!

Under 3s are harder in the holidays I think. As others said all regular places become packed ( especially London), so parks/ library's/ museums/ even walks along river are so full it becomes unpleasant as they have to be glued to you so they don't get lost. And now the Olympics..

Older can go everywhere without buggy/ nappy bag etc., and just hold hand and enjoy the museums/ zoo/ forest rather than just marching through and glancing occasionally

I'll swap my 20 month old! He is driving me crazy at the mo.

He screams a lot, he throws his food all over the floor, he climbs on everything, he does not leave anything untouched, did I mention he screams a lot!!!

I'm looking forward to having DS1 home. He is 5 and generally great company!
