to think that coffee really does taste nicer with coffee mate

DH thinks i have reverted back to the 1970s when milk was delivered in pint bottles and you could run out so had a tub of "5 pints" in the cupboard....(that stuff was rank btw!!)

but i love coffee with coffee mate. i now cant drink it with milk - coffee mate is so much creamier and yummy....
i drink Gold Blend and i think DH thinks im sullying it.

am i alone in my unreasonableness or is DH just being daft

I don't have anything against instant coffee, some of it's quite nice but I don't think I could drink Coffee Mate. MIL likes that Camp Coffee stuff, I'm not even sure what that's meant to be

I only use Coffee Mate. We used to buy half and half, but after tried Coffee Mate at our friends place, we realized we prefer it.

The only thing better than coffee mate in coffee, is Maxwell house french vanilla powder, I bought 2 tubs back from America and I'm having to ration myself, it's meant to be a drink by iteself but one spoonful in coffee is heavenly and I'm mostly a tea drinker - Punjana tea only.

That instinct coffee is nice.

If I have a coffee with milk I find I feel quite sick afterwards. I do like coffee mate, though. I love the creamyness of it. As it goes, I don't have any here. (I'll have to remember to pick some up when I next go shopping.)

Dh loves coffeemate. I buy him some for his birthday every year. He is quite odd though.

Coffee mate is good if you like the coffee hot hot and not cooled by cold cream/milk

I don't like Coffee Mate. I don't like the powdery taste or the fact that it seems to cling to the inside of my mouth. I am not snobby about coffee, but tend to buy Fair Trade instant and ground. Black coffee tastes thin and acidy to me and I much prefer it with milk (not cream - bleurgh).

Generally I prefer tea though.

I'm with you like it with carnation milk/rainbow milk (do you have that in the UK) but i don't like milk.

Can't stand coffee mate, even the US liquid one. But not keen on the evaporated coffee milk stuff that you get in Europe (def on offer in our German, Finnish and Swiss offices)

I didn't know you could still get coffeemate. Surely its up there on the rank-ness scale with steri milk?

but you should go out for a cup of coffee with my Dad! we were at a car boot sale recently and I bought CUP of coffee, it turned out to be instant, so I politely said, actually do you mind if i have a cup of tea instead. My Dad was so embarrassed! of MY delusions of grandeur I think.
