I agree that they don't really seem to have inherited any of his features (colour or otherwise), but Paris has very striking eyes! I was really impressed when she did an interview after MJ's death as she seemed very confident and intelligent. She also seems perfectly aware of some people's perceptions of MJ as well, so I don't think they have been totally sheltered from the world.

MJ said in an interview that Blankets mother is african american. I find that very hard to believe personally.

My children are mixed race, I know they can look different/lighter/darker etc.

'Error of judgement' is giving your kids pudding when they haven't finished dinner. Dangling a baby over a balcony is indicative of not loving and caring for your children properly. Whether he is their biological father is less relevant than what kind of father he was.

Of course it was an error of judgement, to argue otherwise is just daft. It was a serious one that could have had devastating consequences, but to argue that errors of judgement are only ever trivial is flawed.

Errors of judgement can have fatal consequences. Thankfully that particular one didn't.

I think a person who can make that serious an error of judgement, cannot be described as a good father or an appropriate person to be raising children. It does beg the question of what else he lacked judgement in wrt the welfare of those children.

One of my friends is black. She's Jamaican by birth. She always says the one thing in life she never expected was to have a white child. And white grandchildren. With blond hair and blue eyes.

African Americans are almost without exception descdended from slaves. Because of the appalling lack of rights slaves had, it is unusual to find an African American with more than 80% african genes.

Have you never heard the term 'can pass'? It was applied to back people (in segregated America) who could 'pass' as white and thus could get better jobs.

I would say the eldest two are not his biological children but he is their father nonetheless. Blanket does look like MJ though.

These days there are many children who are born through egg/sperm/egg-and-sperm donation and thus not the biological child of one/both their parents. It really doesn't matter.

And yes, Paris is particular beautiful.

I think aside from the colour issue the reason this has been an issue for MJ is because of the child sex abuse allegations.

I remember when I saw pictures of the clearly not his first two children and having a conversation about it with my mum. I found it worrying that he had two children who appeared to be unrelated to him and had negotiated for their mother to be out of the picture.

I think the abuse scandal is a big factor in why people take such an interest in this.

I surely does matter as that was the original post was it not to wonder if he is their father or not. It's obvious that he acted as their parent but he was not their father by any accounts.

He was a completely crazy, drug addicted, self deformed, quite possibly child molesting individual who bought children through surrogacy, got rid of their mothers and then wrapped them up in masks and dangled them off balconies.
