The more I see in life/ read on here, the more I just hate people in general.

• Inconsiderate parkers
• Dog shit people
• People who walk too slow on pavements
• Bus idiots (idiots who playing Tiny Tempers through their shitty phone speakers to an increasingly irate bus)
• Queue jumpers
• Breast feeders
• Formula feeders
• Divs
• Smartarses

All of them. I know that this thread will make Hully sad but I can't help it.

when I was 14 my anthem was 'I Hate People' by the Anti Nowhere League and I still stand by that sentiment today. It's a good fall back position I find.

I hate the word 'lady' and 'gentleman' when used to soften a totally imaginary insult as in: 'a black lady on the bus...' or 'the disabled gentleman...'.

I hate smokers, the ones who need to light up the minute they are out a building, they have everything ready spark up as they are leaving then blow a big cloud of smoke right in your face. Fuck off and find a hole to smoke in.

I used to always think most people were nice. However, no matter how much effort I make to be nice and to get to know people, I realise that most people are intrinsically selfish and suit themselves.

I don't particularly mind smokers but I want to kill the ones who do it while they're talking to me and flap their hands about to disperse the smoke.

I love that 3 separate granny types told DD she was sweet today. She bloody is, though.
I love that I went to check out DD's potential kindergarten last week and the woman remembered, from our surname alone, that my DH was in her first ever class 35 years ago, and that she went and dug out the old group photos.
I love that one mum at playgroup saw my DD looking lost and got her DD to go and hold her hand and walk around with her.
I love that the post woman told me that she loves coming to our house because it looks very natural.
I love that people help me off the bus when I have the pushchair.
I love it when people say hello in the street.
I love that the woman in the car waved and smiled and laughed at DD who decided to sit down in the middle of the zebra crossing today instead of rolling eyes.

I really love people.

I loved the Parisians. Honestly.

I went there for my poncey hen weekend and everyone was lovely. Men stopped to chat to us on the street and tell us where to get nice coffee. Some men came and sat with us in a bar and talked politics all night and left without so much as a "Fancy a fumble behind Abrakebabra?" Twas very refreshing.

Then DH and I went when I was pregnant. Parisians on the metro bickered over who was going to give up their seat for me (seriously, two elderly women argued over me! ) and waiters would pat my bump and show an interest in le bebe.

In Britain, able-bodied young men would look the other way and whistle on the train rather than give up their seat for a heavily pregnant me. Fuckers.
