I think she's inspirational, and she doesn't take no for an answer. Great role model.

She's an old family friend and my mum describes her as "utterly wonderful but batshit insane".

Whenever I read about her, I feel humbled and pledge to be a nicer person.

bejeezus I used to work for a similar organisation, although much smaller than Kids Co. I went to their annual conference and introduced myself, we talked for a few minutes and a got a warm glow :)

Two things stick out for me - the amazing academic research they are involved in looking at the effect of abuse and neglect on children, and the "first step" in helping children who have suffered in this way - say sorry to them, acknowledge that it should not have happened.
