to be an ungrateful mare?

my dh likes to experiment in the kitchen (food only, no shades of grey or 9 and a half weeks here!) and has discoverered a new signature dish. He has just got back from shopping for the ingredients and announced he will do it tonight for dinner. I know I should be so grateful he is so thoughtful etc, but it is foul!! Haven't got the heart to tell him but already feeling nauseous at the prospect.

Can't you just say you have a craving for a curry and risotto just won't hit the spot?

Mine likes to use every herb and spice known to man, in everything, he ruined my pasta sauce last week, even he couldn't eat it!
