to think that shift rotas should be out months in advance?

okay maybe not months in advance - but a month or two would be nice. Still no idea when DP will be working any date after 31st July. Will we get a summer holiday? When should I book DD1 into activity camps for? Can we go to a festival? Is it worth buying train tickets to get to the Olympic game we have tickets for? Who knows!

Now I feel better. It's not his fault & I keep ranting at him about it Smile

Dh gets one rota monthly. Usually about 15th to start the first.

His other job is new rota on Wed to start Friday

ahh, the nhs - dontcha love it??!

we've only found out what Trust the other week...no rota here either!!

When I did rosters they were for 13 weeks at a time and were issued 8 weeks in advance.

Staff were encouraged to apply for leave in advance of the roster and were then given the days back if they weren't rostered in. Christmas leave was agreed by Easter.
