I can see how it happens but if someone has asked a specific question, surely it is polite to answer it before going off in a completely different direction. And if the other topics are so interesting then start a new thread. Sorry for rant, but seen so many op's ignored when they are asking for advice.

Conversation often just flows. I may tell a friend something and she may answer and bring up something else. Then we end up going completely off what I first said. That's how a good conversation works. The conversations on here are good!! Grin
