I know IABU, but can't help being irritated by those people who are always bloody cheerful, even when there's no reason to be cheerful. Is it the law that we have to walk around spreading cheer like Mary Poppins, telling people to look on the bright side of life, to 'chin up' and my personal favourite:
'cheer up, it might never happen' fuck the fuck off
Facebook, for example. Everyone's happy on it. All the time.
It's considered very bad manners to be in a dour mood, almost as antisocial as shitting yourself in public.
Are we allowed to have real feelings on occasion, or not?
(this post stems from me having a rare off day yesterday with a throbbing headache and telling someone on the school run that I was feeling crap. She the silly moo said: 'oh, but you can't be in a bad mood on such a beautiful day.' stabby
