I don't know if I'm risking a big flaming here, but I am on another online forum which is so much more user-friendly (its Ravelry if anyone's on it too.

You can tell at a glance who has replied to your posts and in which thread.
People can 'earburn' you if they think you could have some useful input into a topic (instead of you finding out days later when there's no point any more).

You can mention/thank people by earburning them which is nice.

You can instantly see how many times each person has posted on a thread and so (for example) see all the posts by the OP instead of trawling through a huge thread trying to get an update.

There are loads of other things (post statistics, search facility) but I don't want to bore anyone.

I know people hate change but it would really improve things IMHO.

AIBU?

Jolly good, natural order has been restoried.

It took me a bit to get used to Mumsnet. I like it now the way it is. Ravelry is good for information on errm knitting & Crochet. But that's it.

No comment apart from I have bookmarked the mentioned site because I have a son that loves a crocheted blanket and destroys them and I do not know anyone else that can do one Smile

I like it here too, spend much more time on here then on Rav but those little things would be useful. I agree that angry earburns wouldn't be great though!

And if anybody did want information on knitting and crochet Phoenix knitting forums is very good. It's a much smaller forum than Ravelry. I don't go on it much but folk are really helpful at answering questions. And it's a UK forum and quite a lot of the terms are different from USA and UK.
