I went to Kiev in 1979 Pan didn't go to the stadium but did hit the beach, my word did we see some sights there.

ah hell! Loved Kiev - so wide and green. Went for a run in the stadium with a CCCP sprint sqaud. Surreal!

Norks - I love love love the bookshelves! I've never seen a set of books in colour order before! That makes my stationary obsessed mind so happy.

I don't have pics on my profile, I'm going to have to upload some now! Not got any beautiful wedding or baby photos though and as much as I'd love to show off my gorgeous, cheeky charges I think I should leave that to their parents

One old lady couldn't come to the wedding so I put the dress on the day before and went to the old people's home. She had lived in a cottage on my road when I was growing and I used to visit her, imagining she must be lonely. When I visited her the day before my wedding, she was passing in and out of lucidity, one moment knowing who I was and being overjoyed, the next moment thinking I was a stranger.

During the moments when she thought I was someone else, I passed the time by asking her about her memories of life in her cottage. I asked her if she wasn't a bit lonely living on her own and she said 'No. I had Elizabeth.'
That was me.

She has passed away now. Precious memories.
