Awww
Knock at the front door, a group of ds's pals from school who live round here asking if he is going out to play...

First time.

He is 8 nearly 9.
Growing up...my little chap!

DH just had a tear in his eye while telling him to watch the roads (there are no roads...PFB Smile)

He came back all happy and smiley and feeling very grown up!

Smile

next time wont be a trauma, then after that i will be wondering why i ever worried. He is going to have a great summer and will find his own independance and we will have to find other stuff to do.....like have long peaceful baths, and read books, and buy fruit juice and biscuits, and learn how to whip up half a dozen butties for a front room full of boys.
Actually, im really looking forward to it Smile

AND anyway, if (fingers crossed) this holy crap (see my Holycrap thread!!) of a pregnancy goes well, we will have a new one to worry about all over again! GrinGrinGrin

Please link to your thread. Smile

Your summer sounds great, I will be doing the same hopefully. DS1 goes off to the park and DS2 is out round here in and out of the houses. It is so much better than feeling you have to provide entertainment every day and much cheaper!
