AIBU to ban DH from using the bathroom?

EVERY effing time he goes upstairs he wakes the baby. Wtf is he doing up there?! Me, I can use the bathroom and even flush the toilet without waking her. But DH? No matter when in the evening he goes up to the loo she wakes up crying! He comes down and says "it wasn't me, I didn't make a noise." So it's just a bloody coincidence then?! Every single time?! It wouldn't be too much of a problem if she could self-soothe but she feeds to sleep. So bloody muggins me ends up sitting in the nursery for another 45 mins trying to get her back down while he enjoys his evening downstairs.

His response when I just told him he was banned from going to the loo when she was in bed?

"What do you want me to do? Shit on the floor in the lounge?"

Give him a couple of minutes every time he goes to the toilet, then knock on the door saying you need to go. EVERY time. It sounds like he's using it as "me time", get him to find somewhere else.

I would also make it clear that if he wakes DD he deals with her. Even if you do have to go up eventually stay away as long as you can bear. You need to give him a real incentive to not wake the baby - when he trys to slink off leaving you feeding ask him to bring you a glass of water, you might need a tissue then, etc. he doesn't get to chill out while you deal with the consequences of his thoughtlessness.

They don't actually go to the loo in there it's a mancave!

DH just said that his online friends from his game said xyz, I asked when he played,he said "well I was on the loo and I'd read all the papers, my programme had finished, so I clicked on my game..." wtaf? That an entire weeks worth of my child free activities you just described there mate, fucking iPads Angry.

Ahem so to the op check the volume on his phone/tablet it could be waking dc from the lav.
