Having found someone in the act of raping his five year old daughter, he beat the man to death. On one level, I know that to kill anyone is wrong, on another I am struggling to care. I suppose that life in prison would be a more severe punishment in the end...

Thoughts?

Poor little girl. I 100% agree with it being thrown out of court. I am sure that any parent would do the same if (god forbid) them terrible circumstances happened.
It was parental instinct kicking in to protect his child, I feel sorry for their family :(, hope they are getting the support and help they need.

He caught someone raping his daughter i would of done the exact same thing

MrDarcysbreeches · 20/06/2012 22:10

I would do the same and worse if anyone did that to my child or any of my family.

Finally some common sense in the justice system, even if it is in canada.

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 20/06/2012 22:26

Thank god someone saw her go and that her dad got there. Unfortunately she had already been attacked but it could have gone on and got worse has her daddy not been there.

Thank god the American justice system saw sense.

Texas is in Canada? :o

I have visited Canada twice and found them to be vey sensible people.

Personally, I still feel at heart that he got what he deserved. I believe that someone else decides his fate now and have little doubt as to what that will be.
