To have raged at DP over the biscuits?

I have told him over and over again that biscuits need to be kept in air-tight containers once they're open or they go stale. Or at least wrapped back up in their wrapper. Seriously, over and over again. The other night I make us both a drink and sit down on the evening and he says "oo why don't we have those lovely Ginger biscuits we got from the tea man?" I agreed. He runs off to get them and they're bloody soft and taste weird. I say "what the hell is up with these? they're gross!" and he says "yeah they have gone a bit soggy but they're still ok" - how the fuck are they still ok if they're STALE?? I got pissed off with him as they were expensive biscuits and I'd been really looking forward to them.

He promised he would wrap them in future. Well I've just been in the cupboard and guess what, half a packet of biscuits left open, all soft. What is so fucking difficult about wrapping the bastards back up????????

To add insult to injury he's also ripped the top slice of bread up again despite me asking him many, many times not to.

So I've just torn him a new arsehole over it. It might sound silly over biscuits but honestly why is it so difficult to remember??

Yanbu. If you bake soggy biscuits in the oven it returns them to their crisp state. Pet peeve, we have a biscuit box, and I find half a pack of unwrapped biscuits in the draw! Gah!

I strain all the fat and juice off cooked mince...... haven't rinsed it, but have thought of doing that! It's too bokesomely flavourish otherwise!

Any idea about the teddy emoticon!?

I too need to know what is going on with the bread ripping...

Biscuits not a problem in this house as if we ever buy any they are usually gone within a day.

(Know who theculprit is now tho - 12yo DS1 was away on Scout camp for a week over half term and a box of Heroes chocs lasted about 5 days! unheard of normally! Grin)

The bread ripping - what?!? YADDDDDDDNBU. Bear

HecateTrivia · 12/06/2012 06:27

Why don't you just decant biscuits to these air tight containers when you buy them?

And yes, it's annoying. It's one of those really petty little things that give you the murder fantasies Grin But it can be solved so easily by just putting the biscuits straight into the container rather than waiting until someone opens the packet because they want one, iyswim.
