This thread is really funny! I do it all the time! I know it's a bit gross, but I just see it a multi-tasking - I actually think that those I know I do it find it endearing. Both my Mom and DH will say 'are you on the toilet again?'

I will say, though, that I am very hygiene-conscious and always hold the phone between my ear and shoulder :)

I had a particularly annoying colleague at work - she would regularly spend hours on the phone in the ladies loo.

She wasn't in a cubicle, but surely her mum and friends could still hear all the noises from the cubicles / sinks / Dyson hand-dryers?

I was extra annoyed because I have a very shy bladder and find it very difficult to use the toilet in those circumstances

So are these people one-handed wiping, doing up clothes etc? Or is this why so many germs are found on phones....

Ahh, that isn't so bad. Still gross to have to hear it though I imagine. How many phonecalls are so urgent they can't wait a few minutes?

Another of our friends was visiting us the other week, and was in the bathroom a long time, we happened to have our computers switched on and realised that he'd been tweeting the whole time.

The other day df decided to phone me while he was on the toilet at home, I was at my mam's house when my phone went flat so he rang my mam's phone to talk to me. He'd set it on to facetalk so he could see me only my mam had went to the toilet saw he was ringing (noticed he wanted to do the face talk thingy) so answered without realising where she was. Unfortunately df noticed and asked her if she was "on the bog" then he admitted he was also on the bog.

Luckily they only saw each others head and shoulders. Dirty bastards. :o

I used to have a friend who did this. She carried on doing it even when I asked her not to. It's not the reason we're not friends anymore, but went towards it as part of her total lack of ever seeing my side of anything.
