I have to disagree with the assesment of Rapunzel, in the version I grew up with, each time the prince visits he brings a skein of silk with him for her to weave into a ladder.
Though to tell the witch she was planning on leaving was a bit dumb.

I think in the original version of Rapunzel she asked the witch why her stomach was getting so big.....

Is it Snow White where the Prince sees her in a glass coffin and just has to kiss her?
