It's a vacuum that resembles a she wee .... The end result is a vagina that looks like a dead turkey as fell out of it neck side up. It really is quite odd

ImperialBlether · 07/06/2012 23:45

The only thing I can think is if you bought underwear online, your details were passed on to a 'similar' company. If you did buy something online, then you should complain to them.

BarredfromhavingStella · 07/06/2012 23:51

Do you have a DH-is he perhaps trying to tell you something? Hmm

yellowraincoat · 07/06/2012 23:54

Honestly, I don't get why it's such a big deal.

We get loads of old lady clothes catalogues in, we just chuck them straight in the bin. Likewise pizza, taxi cards etc.

If you're not interested throw it out.

If your kids have access to the internet, a dildo catalogue is the least of your worries.

Krumbum · 07/06/2012 23:54

It's just advertising, all of which is irritating, are you offended by underwear?

WorraLiberty · 07/06/2012 23:59

Why shouldn't my dcs open my post?

This actually disturbs me more than anything I've read on this thread Grin

Well because....

A) They're children

B) It's addressed to you and not them

C) You might receive something you don't want your children to read.

D) They don't own the house.

McHappyPants2012 · 08/06/2012 00:04

not read the thread, but i used to order pabo alot for people i knew would blush or find it unPC

solidgoldbrass · 08/06/2012 00:11

It's my understanding that companies sending out unsolicited marketing material for adult stuff could get into trouble, so they have definitely got your name somehow - either from a prankster or the company also does something else and you had signed up to that. Do you do online gambling, or buy things like tobacco tins via mail order? Are you into phone psychics? (A lot of phone-woo peddlers also peddle adult stuff).

kittyandthefontanelles · 08/06/2012 00:21

What is pabo?

MrsRhettButler · 08/06/2012 00:23

Weeeeell, it was in a brown envelope addressed to you so technically only you should open it, don't really see the problem.
Do your dc actually open your post or are you just saying that for the benefit of the thread? Fwiw I don't think it's a good idea to let them open your post anyway

bejeezusWC · 08/06/2012 04:32

No, my dcs don't actually open my post (why would they?!)

I havent said that they do Grin

My point being, that in my home where I would have no objection if they did, surely the onus is on companies not to send me catalougue of dildos that I haven't asked for; rather than on me to prevent my kids from opening my post, just in case companies send me unwanted dildo catalougues

bejeezusWC · 08/06/2012 04:34

It's nobodies business but mine, whether my dcs open my post or not

MrsRhettButler · 08/06/2012 10:20

Well I do see your point. I also think at least they made some effort to cover up what was inside from anyone. (Postman included!)
