to wonder if I can go punting at 32 weeks?

I will be 32 weeks pregnant at the hen do of a friend which involves punting in Oxford. I have emailed the bridesmaids to ask them to let me know the company we are going with so I can email them to check whether it will be ok for me to do this, but have yet to have a reply despite emailing them 2 weeks ago! The date for payment is coming up but understandably I don't want to pay until I am sure I can participate.

Does anyone know if it will be practical or permissable for me to go punting at 32 weeks?

TIA

You won't need a life jacket unless the river is seriously swollen or you can't swim. Not sure they have any other than child sizes (or they didn't 15 years ago)
Have been punting there once where we realised in places we couldn't get the pole to touch the bottom, but that's very unusual.

People do fall in, but usually the punter, particularly if they're punting from the wrong (Cambridge) end-much easier to slip off from there, so I would stay sitting down and not do the punting. You tend to be more off balance when pg anyway.

Bil had a record of falling in 50% of the time for a bit. Mind you, one of those was being (deservedly) thrown in for being annoying. 10 minutes into a 6 hour punt trip that was. Grin He's the only one I've been in a punt with where they've fallen in, and every time it was his fault.

I assumed you meant the company might have a problem with it. Probably they just say the "at your own risk" stuff.
