to ask my dad not to do this

Me and DS (10wks) currently live at home with my family.

My dad sometimes when holding him, if his dummy falls out will put it in his own mouth then back in DS's. Of course I do this myself, but I'm his mum and find other people doing this quite icky. My dad also has awful teeth and I just think of all the germs. I'd much rather he didn't.

I'm aware I may be being totally PFB, would it be U of me to ask him not to? Am I U for being bothered by it?

grim to use a dummy at all!

TidyDancer · 01/06/2012 21:10

No it's not, otcha. I knew the anti-dummy brigade would arrive soon.

Why dont you keep a spare or two, just pop a clean one in? Chances are with a young baby that it will fall out sooner or later.

Wow he's his grandfather, unless he was a smoker or had a disease I wouldn't mind at all. I wouldn't like to make my dad feel uncomfortable either.

Agree with the suggestion of the clip - we had one with DD and it was brilliant. You can get them in chemists Smile
