Ok I just saw something on Twitter that has made me go :-O
Apparently there has been an attack in America and the 'zombie' word is coming up.
No really!
The government are blaming drugs for the fact that a man, completely naked and in broad daylight tried to eat another man alive!! I've never heard of drugs causing that??

The conspiracy theorist are already blaming secret governmental testing and tbh I am baffled. Am i being unreasonable to post this on here as nobody is awake and I just want someone to verify that Im not imagining things and that this report is here and that it definitely isn't the beginning of a zombie apocalypse and I don't need to stock up on water and tampons!!!?

I'll give you the link but some of the pics are grotesque so you have been warned. img.ibtimes.com/www/articles/20120529/346484_miami-cannibal-rudy-eugene-photos-zombie-attack.htm

Rhonda a gun that 'zombiefies' people???? :-O

It does make you wonder doesn't it, especially with the men in question being homeless, whether they've had something tested on them. I know I sound all 'conspiracy theory' but think about it.

I watched a documentary years ago that said some country's governments were paying homeless people to take part in clinical trials. Of course if anything ever went wrong, the obvious thing to blame it on would be drugs wouldn't it.

for heavens sakes... even the Daily Mail manages to report this incident without resorting to suspected zombies and ridiculous conspiracy theories..

Iggly · 30/05/2012 13:48

Pretty fucked up. I always get scared reading these stories simply because I hate the idea of my children being exposed to such stuff. I don't believe the zombie stuff!

ErikNorseman · 30/05/2012 13:56

Oh come on it was psychosis of some sort due to self administered street drugs. Us government testing? Yeah right.

Aboutlastnight · 30/05/2012 13:58

I think on my list of things to worry about this is at about 60.

Aboutlastnight · 30/05/2012 13:58

And they use students for clinical trials all the time. You can make good money.

fridakahlo · 30/05/2012 14:04

The US government has a proven history of testing things on vunerable groups so why would they not?

PandaWatch · 30/05/2012 14:21

thatisall are you seriously suggesting that you think this could be the start of a zombie apocalypse?

I'm tempted to start passing round the hob nobs...

squoosh · 30/05/2012 14:23

I have heard about this. Am definitely not going to look for images.

ErikNorseman · 30/05/2012 15:24

Yes governments in the past have carried out unethical tests on vulnerable groups. But why would you assume this is anything other than two very unfortunate homeless drug users involved in a horrific drug induced mania? It's not like many homeless people don't take plenty of nasty drugs of their own volition :(

Moominsarescary · 30/05/2012 15:30

Pcp is an anesthetic so people taking it can be in a trance like state ( zombie) it causes aggressive behaviour. Side affects also include delirium, extreme agitation etc

thatisall · 30/05/2012 16:48

Panda no Im not!!! lol.. definitely not suggesting that!

I am however very freaked out that a drug can cause this, there are a few other reports....thats scary enough as it is. But there is some credence to the theories of those questioning whether medical testing might be involved.

Moominsarescary · 30/05/2012 16:51

I don't think so, I've worked with people addicted to drugs, they can cause horrific side affects and psychotic behaviour.

PooPooInMyToes · 30/05/2012 16:56

Holy mother of god!

That photo was horrific! Poor poor man! Shock

thatisall · 30/05/2012 17:12

Moomin Gosh. Its incredible that there are chemicals out there that can turn a person into this.

There are alot of people with mental health problems self medicating with drugs which can be very dangerous.
