Re boy next door

15 year old lad next door bouncing a football noisily constantly for the last hour or so right by my daughters bedroom window. Would I be unreasonable to ask him to stop given now that it is after half past seven and there is a beautiful green not two minutes walk away where he could bounce til his hearts content and not disturb a soul. My daughter is 6 btw. So would I be unreasonable to ask him to stop?

No. I'd have asked him after about, say, 6 bounces. Nicely and kindly though. 15 year olds aren't known for their insights into children's bedtimes.

He isn't selfish at all.

It's only 7.30pm and he probably has no idea what time your DD goes to bed.

OP, yes I'd ask him politely with a smile...he might well be mortified to find he's disturbing her.

Thanks for your advice I do find it tricky in summer as while I want my daughter to sleep it is still early in the evening to other iykwim. He has stopped now so removes the need for me to make a decision!!
