To wonder...how many of you who say "I'd have smacked her" would actually do it?

I see loads of women on here announcing to everyone that "I'd have smacked her" or using the "C" word with impunity as though it were every day language. Also "I'd leave him" is also common.

Just wondering how much of this is internet bravado and how many of you are sitting behind your computer screen being the master of a world that doesn't actually exist.

The fact is, women don't use the C word in common usage and we don't go around smacking each other. What's the deal?

I never use the word cunt in rl. And I wince when I type it here, believe it or not.

I still remember my shocked laughter when I saw the CUNTING SAINSBURYS thread title on MN years ago.

I do have a problem explaining away the kick up the arse whilst screaming 'cunt' at a colleague though.

Got me into a whole HEAP of trouble.
