To not give dd1 any money until she has sensibly sorted out her work experience ?

She has to sort it as soon as possible, even though it's not until December.

She keeps coming up with ideas and then saying she no longer wants to go there.

I'm not that fussed about where she goes, but I don't want her to be in the position that she ends up going somewhere rubbish because it is the only choice left.

My dd has no idea what she wants to do after school. She is doing her work experience in July at her old primary school. At her school you have to apply for a certain amount of WE jobs by a deadline and then the school tells you which one you have got. If you want to arrange your own then you have to pay for the school to carry out a H&S assessment at the place you want to go to.

To Stuart456
Would love her to commute ! But she's also 14 and we live in a very rural part of west Wales , cycling would be dicing with death as there are no cycle lanes anywhere round here , would take 2 buses and lots of hanging round , and wouldn't want her to walk as it's about 6 miles with not much pavement !
So driving is the only sensible solution .

Totally OT, but I love your username.
I had a very similar sign on my bike as a teen, also in the wilds of Wales.
Although yours sound quite civilised if there are 2 buses.
