Don't know about anyone else, but when I go food shopping I want to get my stuff through he checkout as quickly as possible & I don't want to be held up by the assistant asking inane question such as "so, any plans for the weekend"? "yeah, none of your damn business!" I wouldn't mind so much if it didn't mean them slowin down how quickly they scan the items. Anyone else get really annoyed by this??! Grrr!!!

Well handled there, IsSam, < high five >

No class or manners, disgusting article.

Fwiw I have never said that or been rude to any checkout assistant, like I said before I used to be one so I appreciate how bloody boring it is. I agree you did the right thing IsSam I do really find it annoying though when I get asked "Di you find everything you were looking for?" - I got asked that in Lakeland & actually I hadn't found what I was looking for so I said so & got this reply "sorry, we don't stock that. Maybe try another shop?" helpful I thought. I was under the impression it was something they asked so they could stock it if enough people asked for it, clearly not!
