to supposedly have them "fall apart" after an arbitrary amount of time?
Referring, of course, to the frequently heard "I'd rather pay £1000 for a plain white Armani t-shirt which will last years instead of £10 for an H&M one which will fall apart after a month!"
I mostly wear Primark, H&M etc and I have yet to have an item of clothing fall apart/rip/spontaneously combust in front of me. 
I swear most of the designer stuff comes from the same sweatshops...
