I was struck by the fact they didnt know if he'd be born alive but then said his condition was much worse than originally thought. They originally thought he would die ffs!

He's a lovely, smiley little boy but I can't see what they're hoping to achieve with this

When I saw this one doing the rounds on Facebook, I knew there had to be some agenda. I'm not sure that this woman should be heralded as some sort of heroine. She brought a child into the world whose quality of life and future will be extremely limited. And the fact that she is using him as some sort of tool is rankling, to be honest.

I'm not going to watch the video.

But her ds is going to have to be far braver then she is, to get through this life.

belgo · 11/05/2012 06:48

The reason I'm not going to watch it is because from what I've read, it's emotionally manipulative.

washngo · 11/05/2012 06:56

Yes it is emotionally manipulative. I'm glad this girl is happy, and that she has a lovely bond with her baby, but I don't think that should be used to make others feel guilty about their own choices.

It is very manipulative. Did the songs about Jesus in the background not give away that it might be a video with an alternative message.

Believe in Jesus everyone. Very patronising, because only Christians make the right decisions?
