Haven't tried any on yet, but seen a lovely one online, reasonably priced, even better in the sale. Can return for full refund. Should I, or shouldn't I?!

Erik how? Please tell me and save me from iPhone frustration!! Grin

Sausagedog27 · 09/05/2012 22:19

No! Part of the fun is trying on dresses and getting ideas of what suits etc, no matter what your budget is.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 09/05/2012 22:26

It's a lovely dress, but it's not that unusual or that cheap so it's worth looking in the shops to see if they've got any you like as much (or more!)

ViviPru · 09/05/2012 22:44

I would - and did.

And if that's the dress you like and want then don't worry about whether it's 'generic' or 'finding something special' - if you like it, and are happy it's right and special enough for you and it's in budget, then why spend months traipsing round dress shops in the hope something else you like and can afford turns up?!

^^What Fliss said. Verbatim.

Mine's hanging in the spare room wardrobe where it will remain for the next 367 days. £129 online. I love it.

like this but without spaces before or after the

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 09/05/2012 22:48

Sorry, I should clarify, if it's your dream dress, BUY IT! If it's 'l, reasonably priced' then shop around.

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 09/05/2012 22:48

Argh. Bloody phone.

l = lovely

ViviPru · 09/05/2012 22:50

Buying it a size smaller is the ultimate incentive for getting in shape too..

HybridTheory · 09/05/2012 23:07

me and DH had been discussing gettting married in the states next time we were there so i was looking at dresses - found my perfect one only for Debenhamms to slash it to half price and send me on a frenzy of finding it in my size somewhere that still had one in stock!! Had to drive for 1.5Hrs in the end (after I'd informed DH I'd just bought a wedding dress when we hadn't even set a date!)
Had to get it slightly altered as I am a 5'1"
We got married in the September
Perfect :)
