or am I just imagining it? I'm sure I can see a little bit of a belly already, but surely its too early to be visible?......

I was in maternity trousers by 10 weeks both times! It's all about how you're built, I reckon it's all about how you're built (and how close to the edge of your clothes size you are...!)

I have been pregnant 4 times, and felt pregnant before I had missed a period each time. Even the first, when I was 36, not even thinking about having a baby and was using contraception and had only had sex once in the previous month!

At eight weeks I felt dreadful, I know that much. The first four and the last four weeks of pregnancy are the worst.

Oh lovely Grin

By 9 weeks I had a hard bump albeit a small one and felt sooooo sick it was horrible. In fact I felt sick almost from day one! My boobs were like concrete too!

KitCat26 · 09/05/2012 12:10

Congratulations!

I felt pregnant very sick at 8 weeks with both of mine.

minipie · 09/05/2012 12:13

I'm 9 weeks and have definitely got a bump.... but in my case it's (TMI) due to the pg-related constipation rather than a baby!

MadameChinLegs · 09/05/2012 12:15

You are not imagining it Grin congratulations.

Between weeks 6 and 12 I would come home from work and sleep all afternoon, get up top make dinner and then go back to bed. I was exhausted. And vomming morning and night.

Had a proper pot by 11 weeks and could barely fit into my wedding dress Grin

8 weeks was when I felt worst this time around; nausea on and off all day, exhausted, and dizzy in the evenings. It got better a few weeks later, and by about 13 weeks I was feeling almost normal again.

Congrats OP :)

I have "felt" pregnant when I wasn't even pregnant and I normally look like it as well! Grin

DesperatelySeekingSedatives · 09/05/2012 12:19

I definately had a lovely glow of persperation at that stage (from the effort of trying not to puke on the shop floor at work) so YANBU. I also had a bit of a tummy too although MW insisted it was wind (tbf I was quite windy when pregnant).

Congratulations OP! Smile

This pregnancy I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after conceiving and had felt sick from the very beginning, l only took the test because I got in hubby's car and nearly puked at the disgusting smell of his cherry car freshener, I had to get out and drive my own car!

I was extremely bloated straight away, in maternity clothes at 8 weeks, out of them at 11 weeks (bloating went down) and back in them at 12 weeks.

Second pregnancy I took a test, it was negative but I knew it was wrong. It was positive the week after :)

Third pregnancy started with bloating, I knew straight away.

First pregnancy hubby told me I was because my boobs went from a B cup to mahoosive overnight and I couldn't stand the smell of beer, VERY unusual for me Grin

By 8 weeks I felt pregnant too. I kinda knew something was up when I was 2 days late. I didn't show and was in my regular clothes until 19 weeks.

Good luck and don't eat for 2! It is very difficult to lose the weight after. I am very thankful to my obn for making me control my weight gain (10lbs in the first 20wks and 1lb a week after was her guideline) and telling me to try fruit popsicles to quench my thirst and relieve nausea.
