Breasts of chicken that is. I bought a pack of two this morning, and put them on my george forman grill a while ago.
A sort of greenish bile like substance drained off into the little tray. I'm scared to eat them now. I have cooked chicken on it before and never got that sort of stuff off it.

If it's nasty, cheap chicken then that is the water it has been pumped with.

if it's decent organic/free range then it's probably gone orf.

Should I save the green bile stuff and return my iffy breasts?

They dont have that rancid sharp meat-gone-off smell but the bile stuff smells a bit chemical.

YABU to cook chicken like that. Isn't it dry?!

YANBU to throw them away and complain.

Take them back. they are not of the nature substance or quality expected of a chicken breast. you want your money back at the very least. green should never come out of any meat unless it is past its date, has been re-packaged or has been contaminated.

I wouldn't eat cooked chicken that has oozed green anything, I'm afraid.
