This is quite sad really, did a bit of digging and it was bought as a 3 bed in 2004 for £265000.

Even if the bank is sellinh it though you'd think they want to try to get a decent price for it and present it at least without the heartbreaking pics?

I do think the sellers (the company not the previous occupants) could have made it look more presentable. The current photos are begging anyone to offer very low. Tidy and clean (even unfinished) rooms would probably invite offers closer to the asking price.

But I wouldn't be bothered about apples on the grass.

Does look like a repo to me, which is really sad. I know this area of Glasgow and it has a bit of a property bubble as its schools are all really good - to the extent that the council does spot checks on homes to make sure they are genuinely lived in rather than a 'front' for people to get access to the schools!

"Iambooyhoo- dont make judgements about me. Whether it's the estate agents ot the sellers someone could have put 20mins effort into improving those pictures."

show me where i judged you.

Lueji · 07/05/2012 14:12

I just find it sad, with all the empty rooms and the children's toys left around. :(

It is a very recent listing.

Maybe the estate agents had the pictures from previously and a sale didn't come through?

The "props" give it scale, no? Repossessions are rarely photographed. Could not even begin to speculate on the circumstances, so on balance imho YABU,

Skimty · 07/05/2012 14:35

Saw one the other day with an overflowing ash tray in the picture.

Nice.

boo- this= "perhaps a lot of stuff that you've never had to deal with."

OP posts:
IAmBooyhoo · 07/05/2012 15:18

thats not a judgement!

that's me saying perhaps it's stuff you haven't had to deal with so wouldn't have thought of!!

careergirl · 07/05/2012 16:30

I would say its either been rented and tenants left - quick - or it was a repossession and if it is a repo how sad.

I've said this before.....

'Pick up the cat shit'.... yes actual shit...on the floor we had to dodge. Not one lot but lots and lots
