I have just realised that I have a mental picture in my mind of certain AIBU posters. A bit like I know exactly what Miss Theobald and Miss Potts look like on my mind's eye, I have only realised I don't actually know what people do look like, just what I have created. Cats bums, harrassed mums, Boden skinnys, sawdust feeders, dog rescuers, wind uppers, passionate BFers, McDonald's mums, etc. Sorry if I sound like I am generalising and labelling people, on the contrary. I have realised the error of my ways but wouldn't it be fascinating if MN was face to face??

theodorakis can't think who you mean?

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/05/2012 16:39

Susan Calman?

theodorakis · 06/05/2012 16:42

I did NOT see that coming! Nothing like I thought but I can live with her real persona. It suits her.

Oh God, MN face to face? The carnage! Grin

WhereYouLeftIt · 06/05/2012 16:47

Although the physical description sounds more like Muriel Gray, but I don't think she ever did The News Quiz.

step I'm Northern too [GRIN]

My DH is Southern and his entire family treat me like some sort of oddity. When I met MIL for the first time she asked if my family ate giant Yorkshire puddings because we couldn't afford meat Hmm

When she first came to visit where we live oop North she said "It's very residential isn't it?" Hmm yeesss..towns generally are.....I think she was expecting up to live in a dark satanic mill with some whippets Grin

WorraLiberty · 06/05/2012 21:31

I'm surprised she didn't pull a fiver out of her purse and tell you she's going to buy a house Grin

Whenever I click on someone's profile and look a their photo, they never look how I had imagined them

Plaguegroups · 06/05/2012 21:42

I think my mental images are often wrong, people I have imagined as slim start posting threads about the 4 stone they need to lose, people whose posts seem young turn out to be grannies, profile pics are never what I expect!

LentillyFart · 06/05/2012 22:32

I want to see worra as the personification of Nan Taylor ............but I keep getting Sister Wendy or Clare Rayner.

WorraLiberty · 06/05/2012 22:36

You fucker!!

That would be funny if I wasn't on your Facebook and you didn't know exactly what I fecking look like! Angry

I aspire to be the Catherine Tate nan anyway...I just don't relish the thought of looking like her too Blush

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 07/05/2012 08:58

Blush I always imagine worra as an older woman. Say in her 50's, bit overweight with untamed frizzy hair and fairly ungroomed. i am obviously wrong then. Sorry
