AIBU to be

a lurker? I joined about 6 weeks ago but have never got up the courage to post (except about twice!). But I so enjoy reading all the threads and it even makes me sometimes look at a possible different point of view. I feel a bit scared creating a thread as I have seen people be a bit..."direct!"

Grin Mary you must do better!

Mama1980 · 04/05/2012 20:33

Hi I generally only lurk too but I have Started a couple of threads and got unanimously helpful and friendly advice.

CharltonHairstyle · 04/05/2012 20:34

I started a thread on AIBU for my first one, too. T'was good fun. I'm still a newbie though - Hello!! Grin

MaryPorter · 04/05/2012 20:40

Bumping, I can't help it, I'm just such a reasonable person!

BumpingFuglies · 04/05/2012 20:49

Come over here

MaryPorter · 04/05/2012 20:58

Bumping I thought you were trying to entice me into a row there Grin

OAM2009 · 04/05/2012 20:59

It never crossed my mind to lurk! because I luurrvve the sound of my own voice and disseminating my opinions to the world. I've always fantasised about being on Wogan

Joined in Jan this year and initially started nicely in Behaviour and Development for wholesome purposes but soon got dragged into AIBU! Grin I've had good advice and brutal advice and on the whole, it's been good.

Apart from being outed, which was very not good Sad

fussbucket · 04/05/2012 21:05

I accidentally outed myself, I had a lovely NN too and miss it, but it had to go.

Cat's bum face - just imagine a little puckered up hole >+

salemsparklys · 04/05/2012 21:06

I lurk mostly, only just started posting lol

OAM2009 · 04/05/2012 21:36

Isn't just lurking a bit cowardly?

BumpingFuglies · 04/05/2012 21:38

No No Mary!

Just being sociable Smile

OAM - Hard hat? Grin

OAM2009 · 04/05/2012 21:46

Ah, Bumping sometimes being ignored is worse Sad

BumpingFuglies · 04/05/2012 21:51

Do you feel ignored then OAM?

OAM2009 · 04/05/2012 22:02

Well, thought openly admitting to shit-stirring might spark outrage but clearly the veterans are wise to such obvious tictacs Smile

happyhopefulmummy · 04/05/2012 22:02

Outed? NN?

Lurking is probably cowardly but I find if I don't get invested I
Manage to keep a calmer head and listen to other opinions!!!
