I don't get - how they not want to use it..........it smells so good :)

There are method wipes, method glass cleaner, belle masion kitchen cleaner, bathroom cleaner and loo cleaner which smells divine!

I may have to do some cleaning myself just to use them Grin

catgirl1976 · 04/05/2012 17:09

E-cloths??? Do tell.......

Bonsoir · 04/05/2012 17:12

I cannot ever contemplate living without a housemaid's cupboard again [spoiled] Grin. Re-arranging it is on a par with re-arranging my dressing room and it's much more economical.

E cloths are these amazing cloths that clean fantastically using only water. The one that I like is the glass cleaning cloth. It is a funny feeling cloth, but is truly amazing on glass mirrors granite and steel. Hectic social life here also Blush

And I love love love method wooden floor cleaner, the almond-y one. It's yum.

catgirl1976 · 04/05/2012 17:31

Oooh they do an ecloth mop.

I need a new mop........

RecursiveMoon · 04/05/2012 19:51

I love E-cloths and my E-cloth mop, ESP as the mop heads can be washed.

CremeEggThief · 04/05/2012 20:11

I think I'll have to look for Method wipes online, as none of the local supermarkets stock them, and I'm disappointed with how my new Dettol wipes smell. I think they're called Alpine Fresh, but there's nothing fresh about them at all! They're the worst smelling Dettol product ever, IMO.

catgirl1976 · 04/05/2012 20:14

You can get them on Amazon CremeEgg

CremeEggThief · 04/05/2012 20:19

Thanks catgirl.

Mayisout · 04/05/2012 20:22

I take it this is Tesco's latest desperate measure to get their share price up.

MaargeritaPracatan · 04/05/2012 20:31

So a cupboard for a housemaid or just a cupboard for your jif, Bonsoir?

I want a linen cupboard Envy

MaargeritaPracatan · 04/05/2012 20:47

I love Method, everything else makes me lightheaded and sicky. Not keen on the washing up liquid but the ylang ylang shower shine is gorgeous. Waitrose have the new Mandarin kitchen spray for £2 at the moment too, the lavender one version is yummy too.

I am sure all other areas of my life would become calmer and more organised if I had such a cupboard

I think that a "housemaid's cupboard" translates to "the cupboard under the sink". Unless you have a tiny kitchen and have to keep pans there. In which case it's just "a cupboard".

jamaisjedors · 04/05/2012 21:01

bonsoir (hi) they had some of the Method stuff in our local Auchan last week, in the section with the eco-cleaning stuff. If it's hit Normandy it's bound to have hit Paris Wink so you'll be able to restock as and when!

salemsparklys · 04/05/2012 21:05

Aggg my nearest Waitrose is milessssssss away, bumfluff!

My housemaid's cupboard is a tall built in (walk in) cupboard in the office, a sort of ante-chamber between the kitchen and what once was the back corridor to the dining room (but is now blocked up and houses the washing machine/tumble dryer on one side and is another loo on the other). A sort of maid's HQ.

The housemaid's cupboard even has a parquet floor. So no, not a cupboard under the sink!

Bonsoir · 04/05/2012 21:22

jamaisjedors - I read (how tragic my interests are) on the Method site that they were partnering with Auchan for their launch in France. amazon.fr also sells some products (seeing as I never go near Auchan).

jamaisjedors · 04/05/2012 21:32

bonsoir we have an Auchan 10 mins away and I drive past it every day on my way to work but this was the first time I'd been in this year, and was quite surprised to see the Method stuff - and picked it up because I'd seen a thread title on mn about it (hadn't even read the thread!).

I will look on Amazon - never thought of that! Thanks

throwinshapes · 04/05/2012 21:35

Am Envy re linen cupboard.
Re Method tho, laundry liquid is divine (so much better than Ecover cos washing comes out actually smelling nice (but not overpowering).
Would not buy washing up liq again tho. On that count Ecover rules.
God, I'm boring myself to tears Blush

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 04/05/2012 21:43

I bought glass cleaner on special at Homebase.
Someone in my house dropped it and broke the spray bit Hmm

So I bought another one and reckoned I would refill once I had finished.

Then DS2 broke that one last night Hmm Hmm

I realise this is not particularly relevant to the thread but I didnt want to start an AIBU about it.

So I thought I would tell you all about it here.
